Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a full-time position with partner school districts in the Sebring, FL area. We are actively interviewing qualified candidates who are passionate about supporting students communication needs and making a meaningful impact in the school community.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this role, including:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Current Florida SLP license issued by the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates may be considered
-
Florida Department of Education certification may be required depending on district guidelines
-
Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
-
Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance
-
Proof of immunizations and TB test may be required
Key Responsibilities:
-
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
-
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with district and legal requirements
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
-
Provide direct therapy and consultation services to students
-
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
